Metal Detectable & X-ray Detectable Cable Ties
Metal detectable & X-ray detectable are FDA approved zip ties for use in the food, beverage, and cosmetics industries. These cable ties have metal impregnated throughout during the manufacturing process. Because of this metal, the safety machines used in these industries can detect if a cable tie has fallen into a product batch. They can alert the safety specialists on the line to remove the batch or just the unit with the cable tie.
PEEK High Temperature Cable Ties
PEEK Cable Ties are used when temperatures rise to upwards of 500°F (260°C). These cable ties are specifically designed to handle very high temperatures. Oven and dishwasher manufactures, as well as automotive and marine engine builders, can use these in their products to bundle wires together and be assured the cable ties will not melt and leave the wires a mess.
Heat Stabilized
Appliance manufacturers will adore the Heat Stabilized cable ties offered by Nelco Products. This cable tie can withstand continuous temperatures up to 180°F plus. The cable ties are also UV resistant, which means you can use these in a high heat outdoor setting.
Halar Cable Ties
Halar systems are used to put out fires in many enclosed areas. Halar cable ties contain the same material as used in the Halar systems, providing a high flammability rating and a low smoke density rating, making these great to use in plenum spaces.
