Sippy Cup Straw Replacement
As a mother of a little girl, having clear PVC tubing constantly on hand has helped out on several occasions. The biggest use I have found for the clear tubing is as a replacement straw for her sippy cup straws. Because I purchased a few feet of Nelco’s Clearflo® PVC tubing, I am able to easily and quickly replace the straws as they become lost or damaged.
Water Bottle Straw Replacement
Very much like a sippy cup, many water bottles are now coming with a straw inside. If you put the straw into the dishwasher, it may or may not survive the drying cycle or should you lose the straw… Without the straw, the water bottle is useless. This is just another reason I keep a supply of Clearflo® PVC tubing on hand.
Ice Maker Line Replacement
Have you ever walked into your home and found your kitchen floor had standing water around the refrigerator? I have. I live in a wooded area and while it is very beautiful every once in a while, I have to battle the ever present critters that like to come and camp in my home when it’s cold or very rainy outside. Not too long ago, we had a mouse chew through our water line that ran from the sink to the refrigerator icemaker. Luckily, we had some Clearflo® PVC tubing, on hand and we were able to easily replace the defective line.
Aquarium Replacement
If you have a fish tank, don’t forget to keep some Nelco Clearflo® PVC tubing, on hand to replace any tubing your fish tank may need. Buy buying in bulk, you save money and time from having to run back and forth between your home and the fish store.
As you can see, keeping some Clearflo® PVC tubing, around the house is not a bad idea. You never know when you are going to need it.
