Molded Plastic Cable Clamps: A while ago, I wrote a blog about making your own LED Rope Lighting. When I wrote the blog, I said to use cable clamps to attach the lighting to where you wanted it to be. Well, I have found the perfect item to clamp the LED Rope lighting to where you want it. It’s called a molded plastic cable clamps. These clamps have numerous applications around the home including being able to securely attach the lighted tubing. The thing I like so much about these clamps is that they come in semi-opaque white so you may not get the “black” spot in the lighting that would get if you had used a metal clamp or a black clamp. Some light might get through.
Another idea I had for these clamps, and you might find this funny, is to use them to hang utensils in the kitchen. If you or your significant other is like me, I have utensils that do not fit in the drawers so I hang up a lot of my spatulas and large serving spoons. By getting the bigger size, you can attach it to a board or the wall and slide the handle of the utensil through it. Just remember to put them in gently or the clamp may spin around on you. This would also make a great gift if you are a good working with wood.
