So for those of you asking yourselves why you should choose one type over the other—here are some helpful hints!
Reusable cable ties, also referred to as releasable cable ties, are available in a broad assortment of sizes and colors, and offer the same versatile, highly reliable functionality of traditional cable ties. Yet unlike traditional ties, releasable ties and conveniently reusable!
Once a traditional cable tie is cinched and fastened, most often to only way to remove it is to cut it, thus destroying it and making it unable to be used again. A releasable tie, on the other hand, can be quickly and easily detached without harming or damaging the tie itself. It can then be easily re-tightened or utilized in an entirely different application altogether.
Perfect for use in bundling and organization jobs where changes or modifications may need to be made in the future—releasable wire ties give you the freedom to rearrange or adjust at any time, without having to use a brand new tie each time.
I would personally recommend that you keep a good stock of both traditional and releasable cable ties on-hand—because you never know what you may need to most effectively meet the needs of your next project!
