Window Lighting – Adhesive Mounts
Many people do not put lights up around their windows, however, if you would like to, attached is a video from
Today’s Homeowner Video Channel showing how to use the adhesive mounts to put lights around the windows of your home. Once the cleaning is complete (more information in the video), attaching the adhesive cable mounts is not hard. This procedure is a little different than attaching the lights around the house on the eves or gutters. By using the mounts and a zip tie, you are actually able to attach the lights
and pick which direction the lights are facing. Whether or not you want the lights facing straight up, facing the window, or turning out from the window, using the combination of a
miniature zip tie and a
adhesive cable mounts will give you the results you are looking for.

Remember, to install the adhesive mounts; you must ensure the surface is clean.
To install:
- Clean the surface
- To clean, user isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).
- Dry surface using non-lint rag
- Remove the release liner. Note: Be careful not to touch the adhesive.
- Press, using your thumb, on the mount for at least 5 full seconds before lifting
- Allow the mount to sit a while before using.
