Happy Fall It’s that time of year again, the kids are back in school, the leaves are changing color and falling, and the weather is getting cooler. This time of year is the perfect time to get your outside of the house chores done. It’s neither too hot nor too cold.

Your Garage

One of those chores may be having to clean out your garage. If it is, make sure you have plenty of cable ties on hand. Cable ties have many uses in organizing your garage. One of those is with the releasable cable ties. You can use these ties to secure your coiled hoses. Because they are releasable, you can continue to use the cable tie to keep your hoses securely coiled. Another use of cable ties is secure those bags that you are storing items in. You don’t want to use the twist ties that come with the bags if you are planning on long term storage. The paper gets eaten by bugs and the moisture causes the metal to rust. The last use I’m going to mention today is that you can use cable ties to organize your nuts and washers. If the holes are big enough, you can put them on a releasable tie. That way, they are in one place and it is easy to get to. You can easily hang them up on the pegboard if you have one on a hook.
