I received an email from a friend today that made me smile. As you know, we are always looking for alternate ways to use our products. Whether it is to make jewelry, clothing, or wreaths for the front door, it is nice to see how creative people can be. Practical matters are always nice too because you never know when you may fall into a situation that you know needs to be address and you have no idea how to fix it. Today, it is another use for extra heavy duty cable ties.
”Today as I was driving away from my daughter’s school, I took a really good look at the school sign. Unfortunately, until next year, it is a temporary sign. This sign is made of heavy duty canvas and fits across the old cement sign. Today was the first day that I really had time to look at it as I was driving out the lot because as you know, I am usually going in and out to drop off or pick up E. I was surprised when I noticed what was holding the canvas together; it was extra heavy duty cable ties. Amy, when I saw that, I immediately thought of you because, I know you are always looking for new uses of zip ties. I was really surprised because I never thought of using cable ties to hold something like this together. I would have used some type of rope instead. It seems like the ideas for uses of cable ties is endless. I took some pics for you. Hope they come out.”
As you may be able to see from the picture, the sign is being held in place by heavy duty cable ties.
