Zelite polyethylene tubing is a specific formulation of polyethylene tubing that refers to linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) compared simply to low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Due to a different manufacturing process at a colder temperature, Zelite polyethylene is a distinct polymer which is structurally different on the molecular and chemical level. This different chemical structure results in a substance which is both more resilient and more flexible than standard low-density polyethylene. What this means for polyethylene tubing is that Zelite is a stronger and more versatile tubing solution compared to normal LDPE tubing.
