The Double Coated Foam tape is primarily used for mounting, joining, or holding items. The foam tape is great to use on uneven surfaces because the tape conforms to the surface offering a high shear strength.
Duct tape was primarily invented to fix HVAC ducts and to hold them together. Now Duct tape is used for just about everything. Mythbusters even made a boat out of Duct tape and floated it in the ocean.
The Glass Cloth Electrical tape is made for applications where high temperature needs exist. Nelco Products carries two types of Glass Cloth Electrical Tape. Both tapes have a high tensile strength, is corrosive resistant, will not shrink or burn. You can even print on both types of tape.
