K Sun Green Machine
New to Nelco Products is the K Sun Green Machine a printer that is not only eco-friendly, but it may also save your company money on label tape.
Meeting Level 5 Energy Reduction Standards set in California, this machine works on both battery power and AC power. One of the built in energy savers is an automatic shut off if the machine has been left idle too long. Another energy saver is when the machine is plugged in via power cord and is idle, the K Sun Green Machine draws little or no power from the electric line.
Printer Labels
Labels are not inexpensive, and K-Sun recognizes this. With this printer, you can actually set the printer margins. You can have as little as a 1 mm margin or you can have a 1” margin on your label. The choice is yours. When no margin is needed, by using the 1mm selection, you will save on cartridge tape because you are not wasting all that tape on unneeded margins. You can even round the corners with K-Suns PeelGuard® Tape Trimmer. It has been found that square corners are easier to peel off under different circumstances than round corners which saves on having to reprint the label at a later date.
To further help with the environment, the case and the plastic on the printer cartridges are made from 50% recycled plastic. Also, there are no batteries to keep the memory active; this new Green machine uses a flash memory.
With 14 fonts and 7 font point sizes from 6 to 48, this label machine has everything including a QWERTY keyboard. You can choose from 464 general symbols, 373 pictographs, different languages, different backgrounds, use European characters, and with software, even print your own logo or design. You can also print different identification labels such as barcodes because the Green Machine comes with different identification tools needed for the workplace.
The K Sun Green Machine also has a backlit LCD display which will display up to four lines and has 11 different setting for optimal viewing.
