Brady Labels

Labels: Last time I wrote about labels, I told you about label makers. Today, we are going to discuss actual labels. As a crafter, I am always looking for tools that not only I can use for crafting, but ones that I can use around the house to get the best out of my investment. I was looking at some of the labels that are offered through Nelco products for the Brady printers they carry and found that there are a lot of uses for labels that I would not use but many other people would use because of the jobs they do for a living.

Brady Labels

Did you know that Brady makes heat shrink labels? These are labels that you wrap around a wire, heat up, and they shrink around the wire. That is pretty cool. I could use those to wrap around my paint brushes so that the people in my family leave my paint brushes alone!

Nelco even has self laminating labels that are good for protection against temperature differences, chemicals, adhesives, and solvents. I bet they would be great for pasting onto scrapbooking pages. The writing on the label would be protected! I do not know though, if they are acid free.

Nelco carries several other types of labels such as raised panel labels and cable bundle identification labels. The cable bundle labels of course, are used to identify cables and wires. Neither one of these, I can fit into crafting, but I’m sure one of you could.

As always, leave a comment and someone will reply. Thank you for reading. Amy
